After my little !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I decided to take the loss and upgrade to a gold Samsung Galaxy S7. While I miss my Moto X 2nd Gen dearly, the S7 is pretty fantastic. Plus, it was fifty cents more than the Moto, as well.
Still, I lost all my Pinehurst photos, but I guess I can steal them from Justin Westbrook and a friend of mine. I detail my stories in a later post.

Have you tried taking it in somewhere to get the files out? Some people are just wizards at that shit.

AT&T couldn’t do anything, nor could the Samsung people at Meh Buy. But I will not give up.

were the pics on an micro sd card or the phone itself?

Were they saved to internal memory or the SD card?

From now on use the Photos app for your picture management, then make sure it is set to automatically back up all your pictures on your Google drive.

Oh yeah, make sure you give us a review of that phone. I have the S6 but I may be upgrading soon.

Just get a real camera.

Three hours later and I’m still liking it.

Moto X does not have expandable memory.

Phone, my Moto X didn’t have expandable memory. I already have a 64gb MicroSD card on it’s way from Amazon.

Ouch. That’s a dealbreaker for me. I’ve passed up on a LOT of upgrade offers due to the lack of expandable memory.

Well my 64gb MicroSD is on it’s way.

Nice. I’ll be upgrading to an S7 once my current phone is paid off. I’m looking forward to the water resistance.

if it still turned on you can hook it up to your computer and pull them off usually

Yes, but it doesn’t.

What do you have now? And which carrier?

I have an LG G4 on Sprint right now. I’m very happy with the phone and service, but I’d like to get an S7 and move into their ‘Galaxy Forever’ program when I can.

The current - 3rd gen - Moto X does have expandable memory, but it’s due a refresh relatively soon.

Do you miss the Moto active display? I’m on a Droid Turbo now, but likely to get the next Nexus. I just can’t imagine smartphone life without Moto Display.

Do you get a Galaxy...forever?

Moto Display was great, but Samsung’s isn’t too bad either.

URGENT:
Buy a case. Seriously. The S7 (I have the Edge) is the most fragile phone I have ever owned. It cracked (luckily only the back) falling from less than 2 feet. My brother wasn’t as lucky. His shattered.

Good to know, I ordered a case the second I got home.

Good choice. I got one when it first came out and am still loving it. No issues so far.

You get a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge with a 2-year lease agreement, but after 12 months you automatically qualify for the newest galaxy device and reset the 12-month wait. So every 12 months, you just trade in for the newest Galaxy phone.

Good to hear.
